Nashik: International Women’s Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm on the eve of March 7 at St. Francis High School Ranenagar. The programme was organized under the guidance of the school’s founder Dr. Augustine Pinto and founder Dr. Grace Pinto.
The programme began with a prayer to Lord Jesus and the reading of verses from the Holy Bible. On this occasion, the male teachers of the school honoured all the women teachers by presenting them with roses, appreciating their contributions and celebrating the spirit of womanhood.
During the programme, teachers also highlighted the remarkable contribution of Dr. Grace Pinto in the field of education and acknowledged the various awards and recognitions she has received.
On the occasion of Women’s Day, a special message sent by Dr. Grace Pinto for the women teachers was read out by the school’s Headmistress, Mrs. Manju Patil. In her message, she described women as powerful and the architects of the modern era, and encouraged them to use their inner strength for the protection of society and the welfare of the nation.
The celebration was conducted in a joyful and friendly atmosphere. Headmistress Manju Patil, along with department heads Bhagyashree Marathe and Sheetal Chincholikar, made special efforts for the successful organization of the programme.
