Students of St. Francis High School, Rane Nagar, participated in an educational field visit to the Artillery Centre Museum, Deolali, on Saturday (February 7). A total of 150 students from Std. IX, along with their class teachers, visited the museum.
The museum houses various types of weapons and military equipment. Students were introduced to different war-related artifacts, including cannons, guns, tanks, swords, horses, and other historical military objects. Detailed information about these items and their use in warfare was provided.
Through this visit, students gained valuable knowledge about history and warfare. Educational documentary films related to war and defense were also shown to the students. The children enjoyed the visit and learned a great deal from the experience.
The successful organization of the field visit was guided by School Principal Manju Patil and Department Head Bhagyashree Marathe, whose leadership and support made the educational tour meaningful and well-organized.
