20 schools in Nashik participated

Under the guidance of Ryan Group of Education Founder Chairman Dr. Augustine Pinto Sir and Founder Dr. Grace Pinto Madam, the Ryan Mini Marathon was organized in Nashik city. This year marked the Silver Jubilee of the competition. So far, nearly nine lakh students have participated in this event.
This year, students from 20 schools in Nashik took part. The competition was divided into three age groups: Under 12 years, Under 14 years, and Under 16 years. The chief guests included Dr. Ashwin Raje, Mustafa Topiwala, Nitin Shirbhate, Gauri Pandey, Yogesh Berne, Avinash Khairnar, Kalpesh Trivedi, Police Inspector Kailas Pagare, and Dipali Morker.
The program began at 7:00 a.m. with prayers to Lord Jesus and readings from the Holy Bible. This was followed by the flag-off by the dignitaries, officially starting the marathon.
The Under-12 race was held first, in which Jeevika Nagpure, Arya Khandbahale, and Indrajit Tejale secured top positions and won prizes. Next, the Under-14 category was conducted, where Manup Patil achieved distinction. In the Under-16 category, Krishna Nagre, a student of K.K. Wagh English Medium School, secured first place. Among girls, Purvi Nagarkar won first prize.
While addressing the students, the dignitaries emphasized the importance of nurturing sportsmanship. The meritorious students were felicitated with cash prizes, trophies, and medals at the hands of the chief guests. The second-place trophy was won by the students of St. Francis High School, Rane Nagar.
