Nashik : St. Francis High School, Ranenagar, celebrated its Student Council Investiture Ceremony with great enthusiasm on Saturday, July 4, 2026. The event was held under the guidance of the school’s founder-president Dr. Augustine Pinto and founder Dr. Grace Pinto, marking the official induction of the democratically elected student representatives.
The ceremony was attended by distinguished guests Sejal Sonawane, Dr. Prashant Bhutada, Dr. Shruti Kothari, Dr. Snehal Thamke, Pastor Madhukar Adbale, and Anand Vishwakarma.
The programme commenced with a prayer to Lord Jesus, followed by a reading from the Holy Bible. Students presented melodious prayer hymns and colourful cultural performances, adding vibrancy to the occasion.
The newly elected Student Council members, chosen through a democratic voting process, were formally administered the oath of office and secrecy. Ojaswi Patkari was elected President, while Angad Salve assumed the role of Vice-President. Dhruv Rokade was appointed Prime Minister, with Sharvari Shinde serving as Deputy Prime Minister. Shravani Ozharkar took charge as Speaker, assisted by Deputy Speaker Rudra Wagh. Shivraj Kunte was elected Leader of the Opposition, while Sameeksha Chavan became Deputy Leader of the Opposition.
For the Primary Section, Mahir Donde was selected as Head Boy and Anamika Yadav as Head Girl. In the Pre-Primary Section, Vansh Wadnere and Ishanvi Sonawane were appointed Head Boy and Head Girl, respectively.
Addressing the gathering, Anand Vishwakarma highlighted the importance of such democratic initiatives in nurturing leadership qualities among students. The dignitaries also participated in a tree plantation drive on the school campus, emphasizing the significance of environmental conservation and the role of today’s students in shaping tomorrow’s responsible citizens.
The guests extended their best wishes to the newly elected council members and encouraged them to work sincerely for the progress of the school. Rev. Madhukar Adbale offered a special prayer for the institution’s continued growth and success.
The ceremony concluded with the singing of the National Anthem.
The event was successfully coordinated under the leadership of Principal Manju Patil, with the support of Department Heads Bhagyashree Marathe and Sheetal Chincholikar, along with the dedicated teaching staff.
