Students of St. Francis High School, Rane Nagar Visit Yashwantrao Chavan Planetarium
Under the guidance of the founder chairman Dr. Augustine Pinto Sir and founder Dr. Grace Pinto Madam, the students of Class 6 of St. Francis High School, Rane Nagar, visited the famous Yashwantrao Chavan Planetarium in Nashik on Saturday, 31st January 2026 as part of an educational field trip.
During the visit, students gained valuable knowledge about the solar system, planets, stars, and celestial bodies. The students thoroughly enjoyed the planetarium experience and showed great enthusiasm throughout the visit.
They received special guidance from the Planetarium Manager Mr. Ranveer Thakur, who also appreciated and praised this unique and commendable educational initiative of St. Francis High School, Rane Nagar.
Previously, as part of the school’s field visit programs, students have also visited music studios, hotels, sports academies, and B.Ed. colleges, where they received guidance from various experts and dignitaries. These educational visits are believed to play an important role in shaping the students’ future careers and overall development.
The students were guided and supported by Headmistress Manju Patil, Department Head Bhagyashree Marathe, and Sheetal Chincholikar during this visit.
