Basavant Honey Bee Park Educational Tour

Over 550 students from St. Francis High School, Rane Nagar, visited India’s first ‘Basavant Honey Bee Park and Agro Tourism’ center in Pimpalgaon Basvant. The trip blended learning with fun, offering a close look at bees and rural culture.
Students explored the ‘Bee Museum’ and watched a documentary on bee species and their role in nature. Guides demonstrated live beekeeping and honey harvesting.
At the ‘Savargao’ model village, they learned about the ‘12 Balutedar’ system and traditional rural life. The trip included tractor rides, zip lines, and a chocolate factory visit, keeping students engaged and joyful.
Teachers noted, “Hands‑on experiences like these teach children about biodiversity and environmental conservation far better than textbooks.”
