St. Francis High School, Rane Nagar, Nashik, enthusiastically welcomed students as the new academic year commenced today. After a one-and-a-half-month summer vacation, students returned to schools across Nashik with great excitement and enthusiasm.
To mark the beginning of the new academic year, the teachers of St. Francis High School gave a warm and joyful welcome to all students. While the daily assembly is usually conducted by students, today’s assembly was specially presented by the teachers for the students.
The assembly began with a prayer to Lord Jesus, followed by the reading of a passage from the Holy Bible. Teachers presented beautiful prayer songs and conducted various assembly activities, including the thought for the day, the school pledge, and other important segments.
Mrs. Bhagyashree Marathe, Head of the Department, welcomed all students and extended her best wishes for the new academic year. Students who had newly enrolled in the school this year were specially welcomed with greeting cards and introduced to the school community.
Pastor Mr. Sanjay Gavit offered a special prayer for the students and for the overall growth and development of the school. Teachers also presented colorful cultural programs to make the students feel welcome. These included a short skit and other entertaining performances.
The message sent by the school’s Founder Chairman, Dr. Agustine Pinto, and Foundress, Dr. Grace Pinto, on the occasion of the new academic year was read out by the Principal, Mrs. Manju Patil. In the message, Dr. Pinto encouraged students to strive for academic excellence while also developing their talents and skills. He inspired them to become responsible citizens and contribute positively to the nation in the future.
The students were welcomed in a cheerful and festive atmosphere. The successful organization of the program was made possible through the efforts of Principal Mrs. Manju Patil, Head of Department Mrs. Bhagyashree Marathe, and Mrs. Sheetal Chincholikar.
